Doreen Ackom-Owusu founded DeluxMed to address a fundamental gap in healthcare — the separation of primary care and behavioral health.

With over two decades of progressive clinical experience, she has practiced across federal healthcare systems, correctional medicine, emergency care, inpatient and outpatient settings, and community-based healthcare environments. Her work has consistently focused on improving access, care coordination, and long-term patient outcomes.

Her clinical approach is grounded in integrated, whole-person care — combining preventive medicine, chronic disease management, and behavioral health into a single, coordinated model. She provides comprehensive care across a wide range of conditions, including hypertension, diabetes, obesity, cardiovascular and metabolic disorders, as well as anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma-related conditions, and substance use disorders.

Doreen delivers evidence-based, patient-centered care that integrates psychopharmacology, lifestyle medicine, and personalized treatment planning.
